Subproject A04 Sintered coatings for hot stamping

A process is developed for process integrated deposition of NiCrP braze powders on 22MnB5 hardenable steel sheets during conductive heating under silane doped nitrogen. In this context, powder application methods have to be exploited that are suitable to realize a two-sided powder application to the sheets during the heating phase. The resulting layers should be suitable for a mold-hardening process of the plates transferred to the forming press at about 850 °C to 900 °C and should serve as a permanent corrosion protection for the components produced.
