Subproject A05 Roll bonding

Within the subproject, the bonding of sheet metal products using cold pressure welding in an XHV-adequate atmosphere is investigated. The compound formation is examined using compression tests and roll bonding. Studies on the combined influence of different deoxidation methods, forming conditions and heat post-treatments will provide an understanding of the relationships that influence the bond formation during cold pressure welding in a XHV- adequate atmosphere across materials processes.
