Pre-project VP05 Diffusion welding

The pre-project aims to transfer the benefits of XHV‑adequate conditions to diffusion welding, a process that is new to the SFB. Lower process temperatures, shorter processing times and reduced joining pressure markedly improve the joining process; targeted parameter control limits the growth of intermetallic phases and enhances joint quality.
